We also got to see some deer tracks-I was really excited about this because I haven't seen our deer in a while. Now I have evidence that they still use our yard as a passthrough.
And the cardinals were eating from my kitchen feeder! They normally eat from the feeder in the tree. I was lucky enough to not scare this female away!

You made him rake leaves, and now he shovels? I'd chide you, but I think I'll ask for a lesson in efficient parenting, instead!

He honestly loves to do these things. He is so excited to go out and rake the leaves. He reminds me of when I was little-we loved to go out and help my dad shovel. We each had our own to use. My parents got Lucas a mini shovel and rake so now he is all set. Though for the shoveling, he didn't do much more than stand there and ask me what I was doing.
